Key Responsibilities of the Project Accountant:
Oversee and manage project accounting functions, including setup, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
Prepare and analyze project financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Collaborate closely with project managers to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Monitor project expenses, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Ensure timely and precise billing and revenue recognition for projects.
Qualifications for Project Accountant:
Bachelor's or associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience with AIA Billings
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Project Accountant or similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Timberline, or Vista Viewpoint.
Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000
