Job Opportunity: Hybrid Accounting Manager

Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 per year Schedule:

Full-time position, Monday to Friday. Hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week onsite (varies).

Are you an experienced accountant looking for a fulfilling role in the senior living sector? Join our client's team as an Accounting Manager and play a pivotal role in managing their financial operations.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Handle financials for investors and assist in reporting processes.

Budgeting:

Collaborate closely in budgeting processes and ensure adherence to budgets throughout financial activities.

GAAP Compliance:

Possess a deep understanding of GAAP, chart of accounts, and proper coding and billing procedures.

Financial Reporting:

Utilize software for automated reports, with the ability to manipulate them as necessary.

Month-End Close:

Oversee month-end activities, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and journal entries.

Accounting Manager Qualifications:

Must Have:

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including month-end activities, reporting, and journal entries.

Proficiency in advanced Excel and the ability to make adjusting entries.

Experience leading a department or team in the past

Able to take initiative

Plus:

Background in healthcare accounting.

CPA certification is a plus.

Experience with Sage 50 or NetSuite preferred
