CFS New York is working with a global construction and development company looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team

Looking for someone to bring a business mindset to the organization and work out of their office in Queens, NY
Role Responsibilities - Senior Accountant
Oversee all aspects of insurance-related financial activities
Coordinate with Joint Venture partners on audits and financial requests
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Manage property tax processes including timely and accurate property tax filings and payments
Coordinate retention bond substitution processes and documentation
Communicate with partners regarding charges/insurance
Preferred Qualifications - Senior Accountant
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a similar field
Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
5+ years of Accounting Experience
Construction background is a plus
CPA is a plus
