We are looking for a driven Accounting Manager to join our client's team and support their financial operations during this phase of rapid expansion. As the Accounting Manager, you will manage the daily activities of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with standards, and effective financial management. This role requires a strong accounting background, leadership abilities, and keen attention to detail. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will initially receive training and support from leadership and mentorship to become the future Controller!

Main Responsibilities:
Compile and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Deliver accurate financial data to senior management on time.
Establish and update accounting policies and procedures.
Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
Track budget performance and analyze variances.
Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring efficiency.
Oversee cash flow management and optimize working capital.
Handle multi-state sales and use tax filings.
Supervise and mentor the accounting staff.
Promote a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Manage external audits and internal control evaluations.
Identify and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Utilize technology to streamline accounting processes.
Ensure adherence to GAAP, SOX, and other regulatory standards.
Support strategic initiatives and special projects as needed.
Provide financial insights for business decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA is a plus.
At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, SOX, and internal controls.
