We are continuing to grow, and are looking for a Technical Writer to join our team.

Job Summary:

Responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, references, manuals, quick reference guides, or instructions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Able to describe complex software and processes clearly and accurately in a way that is appropriate for the target audience
• Meet with customer representatives, product managers to maintain and update documentation
• Create user documentation for a variety of material, including user guides and instruction manuals, quick reference guides, etc.
• Collaborate with Product Management and SME’s to understand how customers will be using the products
• Print and prepare documentation for shipment to customers
• Ensure technical verbiage is easy to understand by target audiences
• Adjust copy as necessary and proofread for grammar and spelling
• Follow internal document development life cycle process
• Assist in creating online courses
• Provide updates and different editions as necessary
• Some customer travel may be necessary to increase the quality of documentation

Skills Required:

• Thorough understanding of the English and Portugese language and its proper use
• 5+ years Technical Writer Work Experience utilizing Adobe FrameMaker
• Superior computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS Windows, Adobe Photoshop
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize
• Knowledge of Captivate and Instructional Design a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree
