Pay Rate: $42.00/Hr. on W2

Description:

• This position provides repair dispositions and fabrication requirements for discrepant aircraft conditions discovered while performing aircraft maintenance, modification, repair, and overhaul.
• These discrepancies are normally outside the scope of contracted work and are considered Over & Above (O&A). O&A planners use engineering source documents to provide technical direction and references for technicians to execute necessary repairs.
• The O&A planner will also provide estimated labor budgets and required materials to perform repairs.
• Negotiations may be required when repair requirements are challenged by customers. O&A planners are expected to conduct spot checks of work documents with Operations' personnel for improvement opportunities.
• The O&A planner will be expected to execute liaison planner tasks to resolve planning document issues, provide reports, and process planning changes to support hangar floor and flight line operations.
• This position requires candidates with experience in the F-16 aviation/aircraft maintenance field.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings.
• Ability to plan sequence of work, experience using MS Word and Excel, and able to understand contractual requirements to differentiate between basic and Over & Above work
• Solumina experience preferred.
