Following a strategic acquisition, our client is positioned to become the second-largest player in their space globally, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join during this period of growth and expansion. The Opportunity As a Sales Account Manager, you'll manage and grow relationships with key accounts across the Northeast/South region, driving business development through a consultative sales approach. This role offers the perfect blend of maintaining established relationships while hunting for new opportunities in a growing market. Key Responsibilities: Drive territory growth through strategic account planning and new business development Manage a $16M+ territory with focus on both account retention and expansion Execute complex sales cycles (9-18 months) using proven methodologies Develop and maintain C-suite relationships within customer organizations Collaborate with technical teams to provide comprehensive solutions Generate $1M+ in new business annually while growing existing account share Lead solution development efforts addressing customer needs Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical support and executive resources Required Qualifications: 3+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience in the packaging industry Proven track record of managing long sales cycles (1-3 years) Strong network within the flexible packaging or related industries Experience selling technical solutions involving materials science or supply chain services Exceptional relationship-building skills across all organizational levels Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite Ability to work independently in a virtual environment Willingness to travel 50%+ within the territory Why Join?
