The Grants Contracts Management Analyst is responsible for providing management support in the development, submission and post-award management of regulatory programmatic deliverables related to government grants and must be able to exercise independent judgement in their work. Areas of Responsibility: Grant Seeking ResponsibilitiesResearches, evaluates, and identifies a comprehensive scope of funding opportunities to maximize federal and state funding support for health center programs and operationsResponsible for developing high-quality proposals, narratives, applications and supporting documents in response to government requests for proposals consistent with all PHC policies and procedures, and the requirements and guidelines of the funding agencies.Generates revenues for PHC programs through timely submission of well researched, well written, and well-documented grant proposals.Provides direction and leadership in the development of compelling written material to position health center for federal and state funding opportunities.Grant Administration Responsibilities:Independently manage HRSA programmatic deliverables online through Electronic HandbookResponsible for maintaining and updating Sage all grants (active, pending, declined, not pursued and opportunities), including all documentation and pertinent information.Responsible for maintaining and updating the weekly tracking and reporting grant deliverables, and ensuring satisfactory grants progress of each grantResponsible for maintaining Sage on active federal/state grant related reporting requirements and other deliverables.Grants Management Responsibilities:Serves as a liaison to all funding agenciesResponsible for ensuring (with grant accountant) that grant project directors and stakeholders are on track with grant deliverables, including but not limited to reporting requirements.Responsible for developing and updating the overall grants management and the grants project management plan for each request for proposal/application, as well as the facilitating of communicating regarding grants schedules, and obtaining appropriate information on a regular basis to appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely reportingParticipates in departmental responsibilities including strategic planning operational plan implementation; and the development of policies and procedures related to requests for proposal development and post-award compliance processesRegularly maintains a grants dashboard to track received, pending and declined awards as well as relevant dates for contacting funders, submitting proposals and preparing management reportsResponsible for managing grants deliverables, and ensuring that the health center is keeping up with all grant deliverables.Other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education/Experience: Master's Degree in Health Systems Administration, Health Administration, or related field preferredBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, English, Public Administration, Public Affairs, Political Science or related field requiredAt least 5 years of experience working with grants writing, administration and/or other development or fundraising activities preferredAt least 2 years of experience in a federally qualified health center setting preferredLanguage Skills: College-graduate English skills.Petaluma health Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
