When you join Cleveland Clinic, you'll be part of a supportive caregiver family that will be united in shared values and purpose to fulfill our promise of being the best place to receive care and the best place to work in healthcare.Responsibilities:Oversee maintenance of advanced AV and broadcast systems across Enterprise.Provide engineering support for key executive events.Evaluate, install, maintain, and repair advanced AV and broadcast systems and equipment, including control rooms, operating rooms, studio gear, field equipment, and related systems.Collaborate with built environment business lines to manage design and upgrade of major AV systems across Enterprise.Manage projects related to AV system installation and maintenance.Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to procure replacement parts and services.Develop and maintain asset records in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.Design and troubleshoot advanced analog and digital AV systems.Perform other duties as assigned.Education:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, technology, video design or related field required.Certifications:Technical Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNS), Certified Professional Broadcast Engineer (SBE), or Certified Technology Specialist - [CTS / CTS-I / CTS-D]) preferred.Valid Ohio Driver's License required.Work Experience:Minimum of 8 years of experience in a professional environment installing/operating/maintaining AV and broadcast systems.Offset: High School Diploma or Associates degree, Technical Certification, and 10 years of professional audiovisual or broadcast experience.Background in fiber transmission and distribution equipment repair and maintenance.Repair and design of audio routing switchers, production consoles, and wireless microphones.Strong analytical/communicative skills essential. Strong technical skills and an understanding of current audiovisual equipment including Crestron, Extron and Biamp programming.Advanced experience with computers, interactive equipment, computer driven digital and analog production equipment.Ability to read schematics, and repair manuals.Physical Requirements:Requires manual dexterity and strength sufficient to operate, repair and transport audiovisual equipment including ability to perform work while frequently bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, walking, sitting, and standing. Requires and occasionally kneeling and squatting. Requires continuous walking and standing on hard surfaces.Visual and aural acuity,Heavy work: carrying and lifting to 75 lbs. occasionally and a push/pull force up to 75 lbs. occasionally.Physical demand requirements are more than those for medium work.Personal Protective Equipment:Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $33.46Maximum hourly: $51.03The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
