Senior Advertising Sales Specialist
The Advertising Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with clients to sell advertising space in all available media channels. This position is also responsible for utilizing market research to develop promotional materials and delivering sales presentations to potential advertisers. In conjunction with management, Senior Advertising Sales Specialist will be responsible for setting and achieving sales goals of print and digital advertising space. The primary target audience is 18 million AAA members in 21 states.
Senior Advertising Specialist will also be responsible for setting and attaining relationships with current accounts and securing future advertising sales.

The base pay for this position is $66,500 plus commission annually.

Senior Advertising Specialist will also be responsible for setting and attaining relationships with current accounts and securing future advertising sales.
- Call on potential clients and sell print and digital advertising for Auto Club's assets. Prepare and present marketing and sales presentations to potential advertisers. Utilize market research to develop sales campaigns and to increase external advertising revenue.
- Monitor outside advertising market and search for new sales opportunities. Create and establish new relationships with new clients while maintaining current client relationships.
- Establish annual sales goals in conjunction with department management. Work against plan to attain sales goals.
- Prepare and review reports (insertion orders, monthly revenue reports, call reports). Reconcile and verify advertising billings in conjunction with office management. Occasionally assist with collections when necessary.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Advertising or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- A minimum of three/five years prior advertising sales or directly related work experience is required.
- Prior sales experience required.
- Advanced knowledge of advertising agencies and a current client base preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of magazine advertising, digital advertising, marketing, and communications techniques.
- Moderate ability to gather, analyze and organize information into presentation.
- Moderate knowledge of PC software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Moderate analytical and mathematical ability needed.
- Knowledge of CRM tools
