Art/Music Therapist Position Summary
The Art/Music Therapist provides therapeutic therapy to adults, adolescents, and/or child patients dependent upon setting. The Art/Music Therapist works as a part of an interdisciplinary team working toward the emotional health and well-being of the population served. The Art/Music Therapist performs a full range of therapy services according to professional standards. The Art/Music Therapist screen patients, provides functional assessments, develops goals and modalities for patient treatment plans, and provides direct services for individuals and groups of patients for an assigned caseload of patients, coordinates overall treatment plan, and completes medical record documentation. The Art/Music Therapist communicates with patients based on an understanding of the developmental needs of the population. The Art/Music Therapist documents and reports patient progress to treatment team and utilizes experience in program development for specialized patient population(s) and by representing professional discipline on committees as assigned. The Art/Music Therapist assists in training, orienting, and evaluating the performance of therapy interns and volunteers as needed. and may provide mentorship, orientation, and professional direction to newly hired staff positions.

Art/Music Therapist Position Requirements
- Master's Degree in a field related or complementary to Art and/or Music Therapy
- Certification/licensure required.
- Two years of post-graduate experience preferred, or behavioral health experience obtained during schooling
- At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
