Job Description:
An employer is seeking a Secret Cleared PA Sound Technician to work onsite at Joint Base Andrews, MD.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide non-network connected AV/PA manning, and vehicle support the overall performance of the CS mission. The contractor shall provide all AV/PA system support required for equipment sign-outs and manned events the CS is responsible for. The contractor shall provide full AV and PA support for the support CS customers in the AFNCR. VTC support is not a requirement in this task. Vehicles used on the airfield shall have the company logo on the right and left doors as well as the rear of the vehicle.
- Perform full support for all AV/PA systems, equipment and services provided by the CS, 25 on-site support events, and 50 sign-out events per month on average. The contractor shall ensure all AV/PA events are fully supported including, but not limited to customer coordination, equipment delivery, equipment transport, equipment setup/tear down, troubleshooting any equipment malfunctions and playing of scripted music. The contractor shall maintain inventory management of all physical assets that are associated with AV/PA systems at all times. Monthly support requirements will exceed the average during high turnover times and shall be supported.
- Provide emergency AV troubleshooting assistance within 30 minutes of notification either by phone or in person. contractor shall be onsite to troubleshoot and resolve any emergency AV/PA outage within 30 minutes of notification. The Government will determine what constitutes an emergency on a case-by-case basis.
- Provide full AV/PA support and coordination for customers within 5 business days of request. The contractor shall track all events using the Government provided event tracking system(s) and software.
- Prepare and maintain project planning documentation, presentation material, and program research related to all AV/PA events and equipment and shall provide these materials to the Government within five (5) business days of request.
- Manage and update daily, the calendar/SharePoint site of all events that require AV/PA systems for support. The contractor shall setup, support, tear down and track all AV/PA components needed to support the AFNCR customers.
- Use Government provided ticket system to process, log and close out all trouble tickets, change requests and work-orders within two (2) business days of completion. The contractor shall complete all request tickets and event coordination within five (5) days of assignment. The contractor shall provide manning (services) in a CS facility or other suitable facility designated by the Government to process customer sign-out/sign-in of AV/PA equipment. contractor shall provide an after-action report for manned events in a mutually agreed upon format within two business days of request by Government.
- Perform and document scheduled maintenance of all AV/PA kits & systems every 6 months. Provide recommendations when parts, equipment, materials need to be replaced. Coordinate and complete recommendations/fixes within Government approved timelines.
- Provide on-site support for after-hours events (outside regular business hours to include Government or non-Government Holidays and Weekends) outlined by the Government to include but not limited to Airmen Leadership School graduations, Officer Ceremonies and any other event that requires AV/PA support.
- Provide digital signage support to all digital signage during normal business hours, and after-hours support by phone, email, or remote dial-in service; make content library updates; rebranded templates; user training during normal business hours; software updates/upgrades; and non-customized enhancements. The Government will determine what constitutes an emergency on a case-by-case basis.
- The contractor shall provide life cycle management. End of life, end of service notifications and a technical solution shall be provided to the COR and applicable operations flight leadership. This information will be used for planning the replacement of the equipment.
