Location: This position is on-site, located in Laurel, MD 20707.

Role:

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Audio/Visual Support Specialist to join our client’s team at the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, WSSC, Water.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with video control and distribution systems.

  • Perform installation, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio-video equipment and related components.

  • Daily on-site inventory and asset management, preventative maintenance, and recycling.

  • Ensure client users access to equipment in good working order.

  • Work cooperatively with on-site teammates, as assignment requires.

  • Receive shipments, Scan all assets into the Asset management Tool; store in appropriate designated locations.

  • Move/Retrieve assets marked for disposal.

  • Remove Storage devices from assets marked for disposal, label as appropriate and degaussed as needed.

  • Deliver received devices to end users/groups.

  • Participate in Imaging End points and PC Replacement activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School degree or equivalent.

  • 3 years of relevant IT experience.

  • Proven experience in quality check analysis of contracts and purchase information.

  • Experience working with ServiceNow.

  • Expertise in applying license rules to inventory data and assessing licensing gaps and surpluses.

  • Experience in collecting, cleansing, inventory data.

  • Ability to provide industry recommendations and best practices for asset management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred/Nice to Have Skills:

  • Associate’s degree.
  • ​​​​​Knowledge of audio-video equipment with a focus on video conferencing and projection systems.

Clearance:

  • The ability to pass a background check is required.
