The Fay is a brand new multi-family residential building in the heart of downtown San Jose. We are dedicated to creating a vibrant, welcoming community for our residents and fostering an environment where they feel at home. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Community Manager to lead this initiative! Position Overview: The Community Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the building, ensuring a positive and engaging living experience for all residents. This role requires a hands-on approach, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a strong focus on resident satisfaction. You will work closely with residents to create a sense of community while managing day-to-day operations. Responsibilities: Resident Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with residents through regular communication and engagement activities. Organize and facilitate community events, activities, and programs that promote interaction and foster a sense of belonging. Address resident concerns and feedback promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Property Management: Oversee daily operations of the building, including maintenance, leasing, and administration. Manage and coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure the property is well-maintained and responsive to resident needs. Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies. Marketing and Leasing: Work alongside our marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract prospective residents. Conduct property tours and facilitate the leasing process, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents. Financial Management: Assist in budgeting and financial reporting, ensuring the property remains within budget and meets financial goals. Oversee rent collection and manage resident accounts. Community Development: Promote a culture of inclusivity and respect within the community. Develop initiatives that encourage resident participation and foster community spirit. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in property management or community engagement, preferably in multi-family housing. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Yardi preferred. Knowledge of the San Jose community and local resources is a plus. Why Join Us?
