Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a highly creative and motivated Content Creator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, producing, and publishing engaging content that resonates with our audience across social media platforms. You will play a key role in shaping our brand's online presence, driving engagement, and fostering community interaction through innovative and visually compelling content. This role will also participate in cross-training to support the merchandise team during peak times, contributing to both sales and attendee satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team on deadline-critical projects. You should be able to juggle multiple projects and demands simultaneously, prioritizing tasks as needed. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential, along with critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. The candidate should be able to recommend new procedures where appropriate while adhering to current policies, procedures, and best practices. Requirements
Content Creation
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, or a similar role. Knowledge or background in dance is a plus!
Creative Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro), graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva), and videography. Photography skills are a plus.
Social Media Expertise: In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, and their respective best practices for content creation.
Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create compelling copy and captions for posts.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and quickly adapt to changing priorities and trends.
Attention to Detail: Strong eye for design and attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality across all content.
Passion: A passion for storytelling and creativity, with a love for engaging audiences through digital platforms.
Physical and Logistical Requirements
IMPORTANT POSITION EXPECTATIONS
Individuals will work from mid-January through May, with the possibility of extension for our National Finals through mid-July. Individuals must reside in reasonable proximity to a US international airport and have the flexibility to travel 8-12 weekends, departing as early as Thursday morning and returning home as late as Monday evening for all regional events. All incoming event staff will be required to attend an audition prior to being offered an agreement for the 2025 touring season.

- Develop high-quality, creative content (photos, videos, graphics, and copy) for use across multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and more.
- Produce engaging visual and written content that aligns with the brand voice, values, and target audience.
- Utilize tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Splice, or other design platforms to create videos, graphics, and other multimedia content.
- Plan, film, edit, and produce short-form videos (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok videos) that are tailored for social media consumption.
- Create behind-the-scenes, product highlights, interviews, and promotional videos as needed.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and manage content calendars to ensure timely and relevant posts.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and platform updates to ensure the brand remains relevant and innovative.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, direct messages, and interactions in a timely and authentic manner.
- Use insights from engagement data to optimize content and drive performance improvements.
- Partner with the social media and marketing team to brainstorm and execute content strategies.
- Work closely with other Spotlight event staff to execute a smooth and successful event. We support our friends and always offer a helping hand to other team members.
- Participate in cross-training to support the sales associate during peak times, contributing to both sales and attendee satisfaction.
- Occasionally collaborate with the sales associate to provide seamless customer service, handle transactions, restock inventory, and maintain a visually appealing display.
- Assist sales associate with setup and teardown during event load in and load out.

- Background, drug, and alcohol screening required.
