Ignite Visibility LLC is hiring: Freelance Content Editor in San Diego

Ignite Visibility is an award-winning and fast-growing digital marketing agency in sunny San Diego with a fully remote team. We are seeking an experienced Freelance Content Editor for 12-16 week full time project with us. The Content Editor is responsible for owning and managing copy edits for various internal and external clients and industries daily.

Essential Functions

• Edit and proofread all written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity
• Fact-check all content to ensure accuracy
• Ensure that all content meets the client’s style guide and is aligned with the company's marketing goals
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve the quality and effectiveness of content
• Manage the editorial calendar and ensure that all content is produced on time
• Monitor web traffic and user engagement to track the effectiveness of content
• Deliver all completed work to the account team
• Create and maintain client-specific content guidelines
• Attend client calls when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of editing experience with a focus on SEO writing best practices
• 3+ years of agency experience is desired
• BA in English, Journalism, Communication or a related field is desired
• Proficient with Google Docs or related software
• Experience with Monday.com
