About the Role

Pattern's global marketing team is seeking a rockstar content strategist to bring Pattern's suite of ecommerce acceleration products and services to life across owned, paid, and earned digital channels. With a team mantra of staying knowledgeable, helpful, present, and personalized with our target accounts and personas, a thoughtful, creative, and well-executed content strategy is a critical component of our customers' journey. Having also launched a full rebrand, a new website, and two new products this year-we have a lot of exciting stories to tell and need a creative, collaborative storyteller who can ideate, create, and execute the right digital content to share those stories with prospective and existing customers alike.

We are a highly collaborative team, and this role sits at the intersection of product marketing, demand generation, and creative. Success will require an understanding of business unit goals, gaining familiarity with our messaging platforms and reasons to believe, and building relationships with experts within the organization who can provide insights and input to deliver truly value-add content. This role involves translating product capabilities and feature sets into rich written and visual content designed for multiple digital channels (e.g., email, social, web) to drive brand awareness through consideration and conversion as part of a complex, enterprise B2B sales motion. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic problem solver, has impeccable attention to detail, and comes to the table with great ideas but also loves to engage and partner with others to iterate and improve upon the final product.

What is a day in the life of a Principal Content Strategist?
  • Define and execute content strategy across Pattern product(s) to stay knowledgeable, helpful, and present with target accounts

What is the team like?

The content marketing team works in partnership with demand generation, product marketing, event marketing, and creative. In the office you will sit next to and work daily with your immediate team and peers. The team follows a hybrid work schedule with at least three days in the office. This team is data-driven and results-oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.
