Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to lead organic growth initiatives and improve online visibility. In this role, youll work closely with an external SEO agency and internal teams to enhance the digital presence of our partnered university. This position requires a proactive, data-driven strategist who can effectively manage multiple projects and communicate SEO insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Agency Partners
- Build strong relationships with our external SEO agency, ensuring high-quality SEO initiatives that align with organizational goals.
- Oversee agency deliverables, providing feedback to refine SEO performance and outcomes.
Develop and Implement SEO Strategies
- Design cross-platform SEO strategies that support multiple institutions, consistently applying best practices across all digital assets.
- Partner with the agency to create and implement keyword strategies that enhance content relevance and visibility.
Conduct Keyword Research & Inform Content Strategy
- Lead keyword research to identify content opportunities, collaborating with content creators to integrate SEO insights.
- Guide content strategy by targeting high-impact keywords to drive engagement and organic visibility.
Manage Content Calendar & SEO Goals
- Oversee the university blogs content calendar to ensure consistent, SEO-optimized content.
- Align content efforts with business goals and audience needs for maximum impact.
Analyze and Report SEO Performance
- Use tools like Google Analytics and BrightEdge to track website performance, conducting regular audits to identify optimization opportunities.
- Generate actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders to illustrate the impact of SEO on business objectives.
Execute Targeted SEO Audits
- Conduct focused SEO audits, identifying areas for improvement in technical aspects, content, and user experience to optimize site performance.
Educate and Influence Stakeholders
- Advocate for SEO best practices within the organization, presenting data-driven insights that illustrate SEOs value and contribution to business goals.
Adapt to Industry Trends and Algorithm Changes
- Stay current with SEO trends and Google algorithm updates, adjusting strategies to maintain performance and competitiveness.
Evaluate SEO Campaigns & Measure ROI
- Assess the ROI of SEO initiatives by tracking metrics like traffic, engagement, and conversions, making data-driven adjustments to align with organizational goals.
Manage Multiple Projects Efficiently
- Balance competing deadlines and manage multiple SEO projects, ensuring timely implementation of best practices across platforms.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of SEO experience, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO.
- Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, BrightEdge, SEMrush, MOZ).
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
