The global Content Operations team's goal is to ensure that every attendee can successfully access and engage with all sessions that they are entitled to with their conference ticket and that sessions are executed correctly onsite. This is managed by working with session management platforms and planning tools, cross-functional partnerships, as well as through working with external conference vendors.

About the Role:

Direct, lead and develop the content operations team to deliver globally consistent experiences across pre-conference planning and onsite execution for senior leader portfolio of destination conferences; Oversee team supporting portfolio of ~25 global conferences; Drive agenda, process and technology improvements to support business growth while maintaining world class experiences for attendees

What you will do:

  • Lead a High-Performing Team: Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent to build and sustain a team of high performers in a rapidly growing organization. Ensure team members are motivated, engaged, and aligned with the company's goals and values.
  • Lead content operations team to flawless delivery of destination conferences, including conference configuration, agenda delivery, session management, capacity management, technology configuration and testing
  • Escalation point for content conference delivery including, onsite management of session rooms, technology, temporary staff and escalation for attendee and associate queries
  • Manage and develop team of global direct reports; lead them on content and conference related initiatives
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on agenda strategy, structure and delivery for destination conferences; support and implement new programming initiatives
  • Responsible for agenda skeleton development, content budget management and inventory adjustments for Senior Leaders destination conferences
  • Implement and support adoption of new technology and processes
  • Partner with content technology, IT and external vendors on updates and enhancements for destination conference execution
  • Analyze session engagement and feedback to drive enhancements across agendas, content processes and content technology platforms for destination conferences
  • Onsite delivery support for global destination conferences
What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree with focus on events preferred
  • 7-10 years of business meeting planning experience
  • Management experience leading a team
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in dynamic environments
  • Proven budget management abilities and project management experience
  • Effective at building relationships with global internal and external partners
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be self-motivated, articulate and possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Willingness to travel 25% globally

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 79,200 USD - 123,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
