The therapist will work primarily with children. The service is provided via group, individual and family therapy (as needed) and is based upon a thorough psychosocial evaluation. Evening availability required.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assessment functions for PALS, including provision of and thorough analysis of assessments administered at predetermined times during treatment Maintain continuous communication with PALS clients and their parents Prepare and maintain up-to-date records Thorough, accurate, and timely completion of paperwork and reports Provide individual, group, and family therapy Provide client advocacy and referral services Participate in weekly case management meetings Participate in Clinical Peer Supervision as scheduled Participate in client activities Participate in Providence House functions Supervise graduate student interns, as neededOTHER DUTIES: as assignedPosition Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Creative Arts Therapy or Board Certification in candidate's respective creative arts modality. Good verbal and written skills. Experience with children and domestic violence preferred. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS NEEDED: Valid driver's license required.MANDATED PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS: Providence House is a 24-hour residential program, as such requires staffing at all times. When accepting a position with this agency it is important to know that the regular shift at the time of hiring is subject to change during the course of your employment, and that at times of staff emergencies or special events you may be required to fill shifts other than (instead of) your regular shift.
