Insight Global is hiring: Design Project Manager in Newport Beach

Insight Global is looking for a Design Project Manager for a client in Newport Beach, CA. The Project Manager will be instrumental in bringing the creative vision to life. They will be responsible for overseeing the design and execution of new locations, updating existing projects, and handling special internal initiatives. Your role will involve partnering with the Co-Founder/COO to ensure that design projects from inception to completion reflect the brand's high-end standards. They will collaborate on the design of new locations and updates to existing ones. Additionally, you will manage internal design projects to continually enhance the brand and keep the brand book up to date, including creating new ones for each location with physical samples.

You will liaise with vendors to source and procure top-quality materials and supplies, and work cross-functionally with various departments, particularly operations and marketing. Oversight of inventory and supplies will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that project timelines are adhered to without compromise. Maintaining meticulous records of project progress and vendor interactions is essential, as is ensuring all projects stay within budget and timeline constraints, upholding our efficiency and quality standards. Lastly, you will facilitate the ordering process for design items such as furniture and fabrics. This role is 100% onsite in Newport Beach and would require travel, including international travel.

3-5 years of experience with Project Management
3-5 years of experience within a design role
Provide options and make suggestions while be open and lead by the vision of the designer
Experience with vendor management; orders, invoice management, fabric approval, facilitate the entire order process (organized shipments)
Engaging and strong communication skills
Analytical, fast worker, open minded, service oriented
Experience with creating concepts within AutoCad
