Design Project Manager (DPM) provides overall management of one or more specific engineering & design efforts to ensure that the client receives a project designed and engineered within the scope of the contracts to meet their needs on time and within budgets. Also, coordinates directly with project management, construction leadership team, either Austin's or others', to ensure constructability and support of construction operations. The DPM is responsible for the successful delivery of the engineering scope of work on a project, within the terms of the contract, on time, on budget and in service to the client and the business objectives of the project. Also, at times, acts as the liaison between the client and Austin.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or related field with 10 years of experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in multi-discipline project team leadership preferred.
  • Field construction experience is a plus.
  • Professional Registration is preferred.
  • Prior job assignments typically include supervisory discipline engineer, discipline project lead, project engineering or project architect responsibilities.
