Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

Job Description

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Drafter will create, modify, and update technical drawings for our company-wide product portfolio. You will collaborate with the Engineering Team to develop engineered solutions that meet customer needs and align with industry trends for product expansion and growth. You should be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment and capable of working autonomously on daily tasks.

Hard Skills

+ SolidWorks - CSWA certified

+ SolidWorks PDM

+ Detail-oriented - inputting data and BOMs into SolidWorks plug-in (training provided)

+ Experience with 2D and 3D digital modeling of mechanical assemblies

Soft Skills

+ Team collaboration

+ Autonomous work capability

+ Attention to detail

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Work Environment

New, modern office and building with a large warehouse operating at 50% capacity. Small, growing engineering team expected to double in size from 5 to 10 members next year. The company manages 100,000 SKUs and has 5 US distribution centers.
