CAD Designer Job at Insight Global in Pensacola

- Support the local government to perform AutoCAD drafting and design for civil projects going on in the city

- Designs will include parking lots, seawalls, roads, construction documents and more

- Prepares clear and comprehensive reports

- Answer questions from citizens who apply for civil permits

- Ability to proficiently use the My Government Online web based permitting system

- Knowledge of the Federal, State, City, and professional regulations governing City projects
- Proficient with Civil 3D dynamic functions, plotter systems, and web-based permitting systems

- Experience in civil drafting, construction documents, and have technical knowledge of various types of civil engineering projects

- Familiarity with topographic surveys, GIS software, construction equipment, materials, and applicable regulations - Comprehensive understanding of civil engineering practices, standards, and construction plan production

- Authorization to work in the United States on our W2 is a must

- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
