BiggerPockets is hiring a Senior Product Designer to help us design and build the world’s largest and most comprehensive real estate investment platform.
The Senior Product Designer is a core member of our product team and is responsible for designing beautiful and intuitive user experiences through collaboration with company leadership, product managers, engineers, and customers. The product design team is responsible for understanding the needs of our users and defining and delivering end-to-end product design.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will care deeply about our customers and can distill complex problems into thoughtful, beautiful, holistic experiences. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with an exceptional visual and interaction design sense, a strong technical background, and an eye for solving complex problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Role Responsibilities
- Be the voice of the user, champion their needs, and enhance the overall user experience.
- Design holistic customer experiences with big picture strategy and ability to tackle undefined, complex projects from beginning to end.
- Champion efforts to create and maintain UX design standards, personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, navigation, mockups, storyboards, design specifications, guidelines and other design artifacts as required.
- Participate in user experience research to understand consumer needs, opportunities and pain points to continually inform an iterative design and discovery process.
- Collect and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to inform and validate design decisions.
- Work alongside the product team to solve problems, define customer goals and opportunities, prioritize use cases, and design workflows and interfaces with detailed interactions.
- Facilitate meetings and brainstorming sessions that are organized and productive.
- Create holistic design solutions that balance user needs and business requirements.
- Distill complex problems into simple and elegant user experiences for a range of target users and platforms, including mobile and the web.
- Work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders across the organization.
- Execute designs in an agile manner in a continuous deployment engineering process.
Requirements
- 7+ years of user-centered design in a team-based product design setting.
Extensive experience in designing compelling and quality interfaces - Expertise in Figma, wireframing, design specs, and prototyping. Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with iterative design and working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods for user research.
- Strong proficiency in interaction design for mobile and web applications.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum and Kanban).
- The ability to think about product strategy and vision.
- Willingness to have open, direct, and respectful conversations to ensure we reach the best possible design solutions as a team.
- Strong eye for visual design and a passion for design craft.
- A portfolio featuring examples of both visual and interactive work.
- Familiarity with the real estate investing process is desirable.

Schedule
- Hybrid - 3 days per week in office (Monday - Wednesday)
Salary
- The salary range for this job position is $130,000 - $150,000 based on experience
- There is potential for a 10% yearly bonus based on company performance
