As the Junior UI/UX Designer, you will work directly with the Director of UI/UX and the design team, supporting the design and development of CarSaver’s products. You will gain hands-on experience by working on various stages of the design process, from creating wireframes and prototypes to assisting with user testing and research. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow and develop their skills in a creative and dynamic environment.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design of user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to understand user needs and business objectives.
  • Participate in user research and testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
  • Work with developers to ensure design implementation meets UI/UX standards.
  • Contribute to maintaining and updating design systems and style guides.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends and best practices.

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in UI/UX design (internship or freelance experience is acceptable).
  • A portfolio showcasing clean, intuitive, and functional design.
  • Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • Understanding of UI design principles and user-centered design practices.
  • Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Knowledge of web typography, hierarchy, and component reusability is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
