Job Description

Trim Tech Designs seeks an experienced Millwork Designer to provide exceptional services to our remodeling and new home construction clients. Our ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented with in-depth knowledge of kitchen and bath design, as well as millwork in general.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attending client design meetings to understand their needs and expectations. • Use of AutoCAD. • Help clients select various materials for their project. • Keep clients updated and informed regarding progress on their design and deadlines they need to meet to keep their project on schedule. • Select and specify materials, finishes, and fixtures to be used in designs. • Use company project management software and file structure to keep documentation of all data and communications for each project. • Coordinate with Project Management and Engineering to ensure that designs are executed properly. • Keep out-of-town clients informed of the progress of their project during design and manufacturing of their products. • Inspect completed kitchen and bathroom designs to ensure that they meet quality standards. • Knowledge of different wood species.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes: • A minimum of 1 years of professional experience in kitchen and bath design or internship • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Will be taking a test). – Mozaik is a plus!• Exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • A high degree of creativity and the ability to think outside the box. • Associate or bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field. • Portfolio of past work. • Sales experience is a plus. Pay commensurate with experience.
