Online Editor Fancy Film Post Services Los Angeles, CA Posted: April 28, 2023 Full Time Job Fancy is a busy post production finishing house in Silver Lake, just east of Hollywood. We are a small shop with a great working culture and an emphasis on training and professional development. We are looking for an Online Editor with solid Resolve experience for immediate hire. Ideal candidates would have an interest in the finishing process, especially color and final deliverables to premium Networks. Freelance and staff positions are available. Schedule: 9a-6p shifts and 3p-12p shifts are available. Roles and responsibilities include: Delivery: Comprehend delivery tech specs as defined by Networks and in-house Producers Create and QC high volume of deliverables including IMF, ProRes, DNX, and DCP files using DaVinci Resolve with excellent accuracy. Create review files and post for remote review on frame.io Solid QC experience Ability to address QC fixes for re-delivery and adhere to file naming conventions Conform: Ingest and prep media for color Work with clients and colorists to gather missing material - proactively troubleshoot with the Offline Teams and Producers Online a variety of different formats, i.e. Episodic to Feature, Narrative and Non-Narrative Assist color sessions, providing real-time conform support and making sure in-person and remote clients are properly set up Post Production related IT: General knowledge of networking, shared storage management Knowledge of Avid, Resolve and Premiere troubleshooting Knowledge of various cable formats and common problems with monitoring issues. More experienced candidate qualifications: Experience in formal QC Experience working in DolbyVison and HDR Color Correction Experience Experience dealing directly with clients. Help DI Producers and management team to gather tech specs from networks and distributors for various projects Understand tech specs and translate relevant information into specific online and deliverables work order forms Interact with clients and project managers to help them through the online to deliverables process Primary software: Resolve Adobe Premiere Avid Clearview Frame.io Cinedeck Google Suite Monday.com Required skills: Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (finishing / online) Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Avid Media Composer (offline) Experience in online and delivery for major networks and streamers including Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Apple, Amazon,Showtime, Nat Geo, etc. Salary/Benefits $25.00 - 50.00 per hour For staff positions, benefits include paid vacation days, matching 401k, health insurance and more. info@fancyfilm.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
