Position Overview: As a Video Editor at HeyGen, you will play a key role in crafting visually compelling and engaging video content for a variety of platforms, including web, social media, and marketing campaigns. You'll bring your technical expertise and creative vision to deliver high-quality videos that showcase the power of HeyGen’s platform. You'll work closely with the creative, marketing, and product teams to ensure content aligns with brand objectives and user expectations. This is a full-time contract role. The right candidate will be able to work in our San Francisco office 4+ days a week. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, product, marketing) to produce video content for product demos, tutorials, social media, and promotional campaigns. Add motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design to enhance video production. Assist in the ideation and creation of video concepts, storyboards, and scripts to guide video production. Maintain and organize video assets, ensuring proper management of project files and media libraries. Implement feedback from stakeholders to improve video quality and ensure the final product meets brand standards. Stay updated on video trends, editing techniques, and social media best practices, applying innovative ideas to HeyGen's video content. Test and provide feedback on HeyGen’s video generation platform, helping to improve the product for users. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere or similar tools. Experience with motion graphics in AfterEffects, color grading, audio editing, and visual effects. Familiarity with AI-powered video tools or a willingness to learn and adapt to HeyGen’s platform. Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives through video. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with social media video formats and understanding of platform-specific best practices.
