Job Overview:

We have a unique and incredible opportunity for the right person. Files.com is a $40M+ Annual Recurring Revenue startup that is profitable, well-funded, and Private Equity backed. We have had this success without a marketing team. We are building a marketing team in Austin that will fuel exponential growth. This role will report directly into the CEO and play a significant part in managing all marketing events. We are looking for individuals with a SaaS B2B Marketing background and the entrepreneurial interest to be a part of building a Marketing function at Files.com. Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning & Execution:
    • Manage the full lifecycle of event planning and execution for internal and external events, including trade shows, conferences, and corporate meetings.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define event goals, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Identify and secure venues, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
    • Develop and adhere to event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality.
  • Trade Show Coordination:
    • Plan and coordinate logistics for up to multiple trade shows annually, including booth design, transportation of materials, and staffing.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create promotional materials, product demos, and interactive booth experiences.
    • Ensure all booth designs, materials, and activities align with the company's brand and messaging.
  • Event Promotion & Marketing:
    • Create event-specific marketing plans, including email campaigns, social media promotions, and other marketing collateral.
    • Work closely with the design and content teams to develop materials that drive attendance and engagement.
    • Ensure event content and messaging is consistent with the overall brand strategy.
  • Logistics & Onsite Management:
    • Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including setup, registration, AV needs, catering, and teardown.
    • Act as the point of contact during events, ensuring seamless execution and addressing any issues that arise.
    • Organize and lead post-event debriefs to evaluate event success, analyze feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Internal Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with various departments (sales, product, leadership) to ensure alignment on event goals and execution.
    • Communicate with internal teams on event schedules, objectives, and responsibilities.
    • Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and venues to ensure successful event execution.
  • Post-Event Reporting & Analysis:
    • Gather and analyze event data, including attendance, engagement metrics, and overall ROI.
    • Provide post-event reports and recommendations for improving future events.
    • Track expenses and reconcile event budgets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in event marketing or event coordination, preferably with trade show experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel for trade shows and events as needed.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in B2B event marketing.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media promotion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet during events.
