The Social Media, Influencer and Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of events and social/influencer campaigns to promote the company’s brand, products, or services. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and influencers. What you’ll do: Event Planning and Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute events including product launches, trade shows, corporate meetings, and promotional events. Develop event concepts, themes, and schedules in alignment with company goals. Manage event logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth execution of events. Oversee event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met. Any other adhoc responsibilities that arise. Influencer/Social Collaboration: Identify, engage, and build relationships with influencers who align with the company’s brand and target audience. Develop and manage influencer marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive engagement. Negotiate and manage contracts, deliverables, and compensation with influencers. Track and analyze campaign performance metrics to assess effectiveness and ROI. Create UTM links and bitly links for social/influencer use. Create monthly seeding lists for influencer outreach. Community management on social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook). Stay up to date on all current articles regarding our industry. Create content with other members of the team, be a part of social brainstorms and any other adhoc responsibilities that arise. Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and strategies for events and influencer campaigns. Utilize social media, email marketing, and other channels to promote events and influencer partnerships. Monitor and respond to social media engagement related to events and influencer activities. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, influencer campaign performance, and budget adherence. Analyze feedback from attendees and influencers to improve future events and campaigns. Provide recommendations based on data and insights to optimize strategies and processes. Administrative Tasks: Maintain organized records of event plans, influencer contracts, and other relevant documentation. Handle correspondence and communication with vendors, influencers, and internal teams. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to events and influencer marketing. Training, Education and Experience Required: Right out of college (if had an internship in related field) or 1-2 years of relevant work experience. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field. Proven experience in event planning, marketing, social media or influencer coordination. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in event management software and social media platforms. Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Experience in digital marketing and social media strategy. Knowledge of analytics tools and software. Previous experience working with influencers in various niches. May require occasional evening and weekend work to attend or coordinate events. Must attend all events (includes setup and breakdown). Travel may be required for off-site events and meetings. Car is required for travel to and from events. In-office 2x a week.
