We are currently seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn about various aspects of marketing while contributing fresh ideas and supporting ongoing marketing initiatives. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This position works in a team environment at our office in Lexington, KY. This is not a remote position.

This is a paid internship.

This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities
•Assist in creating engaging and relevant content for various digital platforms, including social media, blog posts, newsletters, and website content.
•Collaborate with team members to develop compelling visuals, graphics, and multimedia content.
•Help manage and maintain social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments.
•Contribute to the development of social media content calendars and campaigns.
•Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
•Summarize research findings and present insights to the team.
•Assist in tracking and analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools.
•Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement.
•Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing events, such as webinars, workshops, and trade shows.
•Coordinate logistics, promotional materials, and attendee communication.
•Assist in creating and sending email marketing campaigns.
•Help manage email lists and segmentations for targeted messaging.
•Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, and product, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
•Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and maintaining marketing materials.

Qualifications & Competencies
•Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency in using social media platforms and basic understanding of social media best practices.
•Familiarity with content creation tools, graphic design software, and email marketing platforms is a plus.
•Basic knowledge of marketing principles and concepts.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
•Eagerness to learn and contribute creative ideas.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
