About the Opportunity
Erdos Miller is a long-term focused company looking for an experienced marketing manager who possesses positive energy, technological expertise and is highly motivated to expand the impact of our brand throughout our industry. This is a multi-faceted role with responsibilities related to marketing strategy planning, implementation, and analyzing data for improvement. We are looking for a dynamic individual with diverse skills who is motivated by our mission and has problem-solving skills. Within 90 Days, you can expect to:
- Have a 90-day growth plan developed and tracked with your manager
- Have a base grasp of Erdos Miller’s primary product lines
- Know each Erdos Miller team and their role in our customer’s success
- Create and manage our content calendar
- Understand our buyer persona
- Know our competitive landscape for each product line
- Lead weekly marketing meetings to report performance and project status
- Attend customer meetings with the sales team
- Craft marketing materials consistent with Erdos Miller brand guidelines
Within 12 Months, you can expect to:
- Have a strong grasp of all Erdos Miller’s major product lines
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new products and features
- Create strategic marketing plans that are aligned with the business goals
- Partner with the sales team to ensure marketing leads are relevant, and aligned to the business priorities
- Be the champion of “Why Erdos Miller?” across our business
- Managing our brand voice for our entire customer journey
- Have visited a customer rig site
- Lead quarterly marketing strategy meetings
- Work simultaneously on multiple projects, prioritizing by deadline and importance
Examples of work:
- Managing our website and tracking our content performance through HubSpot
- Working with Erdos Miller engineers to create blog content
- Managing the release of whitepapers and releasing through our marketing channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, Industry Events)
- Managing our Google Ads campaigns for keywords we do not yet organically place
- Working with the engineering team to ensure product releases adhere to our marketing strategy by channel
- Working with our marketing contractors to ensure deadlines are met
Duties and Qualifications
- Positive Attitude
- 5+ Years of marketing experience for B2B, Energy industry preferred
- Technology fluency and ability to learn new platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Willingness to receive and implement critical feedback
- Respect for individuals' diverse experiences and the ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds
- Preferred: Undergraduate degree in marketing/communications or related field
