ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has immediate opening for Marketing Intern at the SNHU Arena, Manchester, NH 03101. This is a part time position as an intern. POSITION SUMMARY SNHU Arena is looking for a part-time Marketing Intern who is self-motivated, creative, passionate about the arts, entertainment and hospitality, with a great attitude, strong organizational skills, works well independently. The marketing intern will be a major contributor and creator of our social media content through various social media platforms. This marketing intern will contribute to making engaging content while informing, guiding and showcasing the diversity of our events and patrons. To thrive in this role you will need to be able to work well independently while having strong communication skills - both verbally and written, and be an organized forward-thinker. The right candidate will be very creative and is willing to bring his or her creativity and ideas to the table. The perfect candidate must be a polished and confident communicator. You not only grasp how our digital entities can transform our customer's experience, but you have enthusiasm for everything social, from copywriting to creative visuals to overall strategy to simply engaging with people on social platforms and in person. You bring a willingness to understand our unique offering in the market, along with our distinct processes and workflow.
Responsibilities of the Marketing Intern
Work alongside the Director of Marketing to create plans for monthly social media strategies and help assist in the growth of the brand, promote events and the venue Perform a range of marketing support duties related to the venue event calendar Assist in implementing plans to increase followers, promote events and the venue on popular social media websites such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn Help to develop content for all social media platforms, as well as assisting the director with projects for marketing and administrative tasks Monitor postings to ensure brand message is constant and consistent from the terminology used to images posted Capture day of show content and coordinate with media on site for events Very strong writing skills with the ability to write engaging content for various audiences. Have a sense of humor, quick-wittiness, and seek creativity of thought when applicable. Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None Qualifications for Marketing Intern Degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field preferred 1-2 years of social media experience preferred Strong knowledge in running social media campaigns and engagement on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat etc. Entry level understanding of marketing strategy and how to use the concepts throughout various forms of outreach & determining how to cater unique marketing campaigns to a unique audience Knowledge of analytical tools. Creative mindset. Ability to multitask.
