THE ROLE
With oversight of manager, the Marketing Sr. Specialist forms and deepens relationships with internal business partners to facilitate the delivery of marketing activities that support the business and help elevate the MFS brand and our capabilities. Responsible for project management of multiple mid-sized programs and/or promotional efforts resulting in the development of strategically sound targeted marketing assets.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Execute the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns. Collaborate with marketing colleagues to initiate and successfully execute a variety of project types.
As appropriate, understand client segments, target markets and the MFS philosophy and strategies in order to execute on marketing plans.
Utilize marketing analytics to leverage key learnings and inform marketing plans and deliverables across multiple channels.
Coordinate content development activities working across teams to support business goals. Provide clear direction and input and proactively manage contributors to guide project teams to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
Foster strong business partnerships to ensure programs are planned and executed on time, and on budget.
Work collaboratively within the Marketing Strategy and Activation, Strategy and Insights Group and broader MFS groups such as distribution, product, compliance and legal to achieve objectives.
Evaluate metrics and provide insights on marketing program performance to ensure business goals are met.
Demonstrate understanding of brand guidelines as well as how to apply them across assigned areas and marketing deliverables.
As appropriate, oversee inventory and maintenance of literature, and assist with the creation of new sales literature ensuring lesser-used and/or obsolete pieces are phased out and/or replaced with more contemporary, compelling material.
Provide support to key business partners by responding to requests and addressing concerns in a timely, professional manner-building trusting, valued relationships that result in client satisfaction.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree combined with experience in marketing, sales and/or finance preferably within financial services or related industry.
2-5+ years of relevant work experience.
Utilize data analytics, mining for insights, and application of key learning to influence channel marketing strategies and decision making.
Customer-service focus with strong problem-solving skills and solutions orientation.
Organized self-starter who can work independently, demonstrating attention to detail and ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
Ability to operate effectively under pressure-shifting priorities in response to changing business demands while adhering to stated project deadlines.
Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate with at all levels.
Experience working with creative service teams and processes to develop sales and marketing support materials.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Technical aptitude including workflow, CRM, marketing automation and design, as appropriate.
