Grizzly Industrial, Inc. has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced marketing professional. This executive level position will lead our marketing team and its efforts to drive sales growth across all channels and is responsible for all marketing and branding efforts of the organization, new customer acquisition and analysis of all related efforts.

Top line growth is the primary objective and KPI for this role. The Marketing Director will manage the end-to-end marketing process and work cross-functionally to develop strategy and budgeting, and execute online, print and in-store campaigns to drive growth through segmentation and targeting of existing and new customers.

Reporting directly to the company president, the successful candidate must have strategic business planning, leadership and strong analytical skills, with a results-oriented approach and proven track record of business innovation with a passion for building brands and driving demand through customized and powerful marketing efforts, integrated campaigns, content marketing, digital initiatives, social media and new technology. Experience in the latest social media marketing as well as content and brand marketing across multiple channels is an absolute requirement for this position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategy and campaigns across all channels and markets, in addition to overseeing marketing execution.
  • Lead marketing team, including Creative Manager, Digital and Print Marketing Managers and staff.
  • Budget and optimize marketing spend across all channels to maximize ROI/ROAS and achieve brand awareness, sales and profitability goals.
  • Prepare revenue growth projections and related budgets. Accountable for top line growth and across all channels.
  • Analysis of all direct marketing efforts, and related strategy through analytical models.
  • Drive branding efforts nationally.
  • Coach employees in conjunction with leadership staff to ensure proper and consistent campaign execution.
  • Develop customer feedback cycles, survey and focus groups to better understand customer needs and drive demand through related efforts.
  • Make decisions based upon precedent and independently solve arising problems using sound judgment and experience.
  • Create and manage our Social Media strategy across all platforms
  • Further develop and manage our Influencer/affiliate programs
  • Create a robust PR program that ensures consistent, positive conversation around our products and company.
  • Manage website developers and own the entire Ecommerce experience; from website operations and performance to UX and conversions.
  • Responsible for the further development of our CRM initiatives to meet specific KPI’s, using customer insights to find strategic solutions to grow the business and brand.
  • Partner with internal and external departments such as our Product Team, Quality Control, and marketing vendors to effectively meet goals and spearhead the development of broad scale marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in multi-channel marketing management and a proven verifiable record of revenue growth in prior positions.
  • Direct work experience and deep understanding of B2B and B2C ecommerce websites and current digital marketing best practices and analytics is required. Experience in a direct to consumer, selling physical, tangible products is a plus.
  • Similar industry experience preferred (i.e. machinery, tools, home improvement and DIY).
  • Advanced analytical skills with talent for interpreting trends and data and making informed projections/assertions is preferred.
  • A strong leader capable of developing, coaching, managing and motivating a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize work and balance a portfolio of programs.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and executive presentation skills
  • Strong critical thinking & analytical skills and a proven track record of identifying and executing strategies that have helped to drive growth.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating, partnering and influencing at all levels and across all functions of the organization
  • Comfortable managing large project portfolio deadlines and deliverables in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Strong consumer understanding with ability to take consumer information/knowledge and find deep consumer insights that can drive marketing strategy
