Director – Marketing Communication: This role will lead our marketing strategy, defining our brand and increasing our awareness in our industry and market positioning. The MarCom Director will partner with key stakeholders, i.e. CEO, CFO, Chief Business Officers and the Commercial organization in alignment with our business strategy. This role will play a critical part in IPO readiness, generating investor interest and generating customer growth.



Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Planning:

  • Design and develop marketing strategy in alignment with our current and the future business strategy
  • Develop brand awareness to position Lummus as a leading innovative and technology company in our industry
  • Partner with the executive leadership to define our market positioning, value proposition, and differentiators as we approach the public markets.


Investor Relations and Corporate Communications:

  • Develop compelling message to our investors on our organization portfolio
  • Partner with the finance and the executive teams to work out an investor focused content to generate investor interest
  • Develop clear and compelling messaging around company milestones, technological advancements, and competitive positioning to attract investor interest.


Brand and Market Positioning:

  • Strengthen the company’s brand presence within the process technology industry, ensuring clear and consistent messaging that resonates with both customers and investors.
  • Define a positioning strategy that clearly communicates the company’s unique value proposition, long-term growth strategy, and market leadership.
  • Ensure the brand is perceived as an innovative and reliable leader in the process technology sector, with strong growth potential and industry relevance.


Market Research:

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies, support product development, and validate investor messaging.
  • Analyze data and customer insights to refine positioning and ensure alignment with both customer needs and investor interests.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, keeping an eye on how these launches enhance investor appeal.


Integrated Marketing Campaigns for Revenue Growth:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, informing marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales team, design tools and communication materials to promote our current and the future technologies


Digital Marketing and Online Presence:

  • Re-design the company website to reflect our brand and deliver consistent messaging on our brand via social media to our potential customers and investor


Budget Management and ROI Tracking:

  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize impact and achieve both marketing and IPO-preparation objectives.
  • Track, analyze, and report on marketing expenditures and ROI, ensuring accountability and efficient use of funds.



Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • MBA preferred


Experience:

  • 10-15 years of experience in Marketing and Communication in a global US listed company.
  • Should have worked as part of the leadership team and with an exposure to C-Suite in a public company


Skills

  • Knowledge of the process technology industry or experience in industrial marketing is preferred.
  • Experience working closely with executive teams on IPO readiness and investor-focused content.
