Position Summary: The Brand Marketing Director role will coordinate the formulation and implementation of strategic marketing plans aimed at amplifying our presence and driving growth in our businesses which includes Cosmetics, Skincare, Personal care and jewelry. This role will craft annual brand marketing plans, analyze the market and promotional programs, oversee marketing budget allocation, and orchestrate cross-functional promotional strategies. The role will play a crucial role in spearheading marketing for new product launches in our beauty and jewelry divisions, as well as identifying potential opportunities regarding specific sales channels, product formats, and new products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establish product marketing strategy in alignment with brand objectives and oversee implementation of programs and promotions.
  • Manage and lead multiple cross-functional teams to execute product and category initiatives and implement plans
  • Ensure our product and brand strategies is communicated, understood, and implemented by all cross-functional groups.
  • Develop and support the strategic brand plans, leveraging consumer & customer trends as well as in-depth knowledge of competitive landscape to build brand equity via product strategy
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration on product and promotion strategy with training, business development, digital and PR/social
  • Lead product messaging and ensure consistent application across communication channels
  • Develop strategy and marketing plans for category and pillar products to drive existing business
  • Identify new marketing opportunities via promotions and programs through market and competitive analysis
  • Assist in driving the go-to-market strategy to win and grow market share

  • Develops and schedule campaigns and provides performance metrics to identify improvements
  • Collaborates with other teams to identify and effectively improve site features and experience
  • Conducts regular testing of email and website elements, documents the results, and shares best practices.
  • Optimizes online traffic growth from multiple sources
  • Collaborates with product managers and other departments to create on-brand, best-in-class content tailored to appropriate customers
  • Generates weekly marketing metric reports to determine success
  • Complies with company policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Sets goals and performance expectations for the brands and product launches
  • Addresses employee or customer concerns and/or elevates to the Management team
  • Trains and assists employees
  • Works within budgetary controls
  • Supports the Company's Safety Programs
  • Acts as an ambassador and champion of the company culture, ethics, and value
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degrees in marketing, communications, business or related field.
  • 7 + years of experience in beauty sales, jewelry, retail sales, marketing or related field
  • Marketing experience to include brand positioning, strategy development, consumer insight generation, direct to consumer advertising, consumer promotion and integrated marketing communications development.
  • Demonstrated experience in brand management, within the beauty and/or fashion industry
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing strategies, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and analytic tools.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the beauty and fashion industry including trends, key players and customer preferences.
Computer/Communication Skills:
  • Proficient use of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook, required
  • High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted strategic projects in conjunction with day-to-day tactical activities
  • Ability to get along and work with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible
  • Prioritizes and models good communication skills; follows up, timely responses, proactive and positive in approach
  • Above moderate to high levels in reading comprehension, writing, and speaking in English; active listening; attention to detail; critical thinking; mathematics, creative problem solving; complex problem solving; and judgment.

  • Annual conference participation and related travel
