The Role

As an integral member of the broader marketing team based out of San Francisco or NYC, the Digital Marketing Manager plays a key role in managing marketing campaigns, developing content strategies, overseeing social media management, and building relationships with clients. The successful individual in this role will deliver on current and new marketing programs, help identify new ways to meet client needs, and support new business efforts with high-level strategic marketing counsel.



At a minimum…

  • The marketing account manager is experienced and broadly capable of working with multiple marketing skill sets, including social media, influencer, and content marketing.
  • They provide excellent client service, applying Archetype's best resources and effectively supervising others to meet client needs with marketing programs.
  • With guidance, may be responsible for smaller accounts (or the marketing arm of integrated accounts) by planning and managing objectives within budgets.
  • As a day-to-day client contact, the AM delivers strategic counsel rooted in a solid understanding of the client's business and market.
  • Collaborates across functions and practices to deliver effective content marketing strategies and editorial plans to meet the business objectives of clients
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of key content strategies and tactics and develop plans that recommend the best mix of tactics to achieve client business goals.
  • Articulate strategic plans, consult at a strategic level with clients, and have an in-depth understanding of the budget-setting process.
  • Manage an extensive pipeline of relevant influencers for client programs, staying organized and efficient.
  • Manage the strategy and setup of paid social campaigns; measure, optimize, and report on paid campaigns.
  • The AM will continue involvement in the execution of account work, while steadily increasing responsibility over teams and client deliverables. They manage budgets and develop SOWs as needed.
  • The AM proactively helps to grow our marketing work with both existing clients and new business. They support the marketing team by mentoring teammates and colleagues interested in growing their marketing skills.
  • Leverage the available tools and technologies for client campaign delivery, insights, and measurement and make recommendations to clients on appropriate tools.



In this role, you will bring…

  • 4-6 years experience in tech PR, media relations, or communications, with some direct experience supervising individuals and managing teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Based out of San Francisco or NYC and able to commute into the office at least one day per week
  • Social Media Management, Influencer Marketing and Content Strategy skills
  • Experience in managing digital marketing campaigns and analyzing performance metrics
  • Client relationship management and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
