Position: Senior Marketing Manager (Infectious Diseases)

Position Overview:

This role involves conducting market research, leading product strategy and new product launches, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include managing marketing budgets, building relationships with key stakeholders, and creating compelling content. The role also involves analyzing performance metrics and staying informed on industry trends to optimize strategies and enhance brand presence.  

Responsibilities:

·        Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the infectious diseases IVD market.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sales, and Product Management, to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing initiatives.

·        Lead the development and launch of new products, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.

·        Manage and optimize marketing budgets to achieve maximum ROI and meet business goals.

·        Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, industry partners, and stakeholders to enhance brand credibility and market presence.

·        Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content, including digital campaigns, sales collateral, and educational materials.

·        Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions.

·        Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to inform strategic planning.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, biology, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

·        Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic marketing within the IVD or healthcare industry, with a focus on infectious diseases.

·        Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and product launches.

·        Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

·        Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

·        Preferred location: San Diego or Chicago

·        Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
