SUMMARY:

GEICO's Marketing Department is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Marketing Digital Analytics team. We are looking to hire an experienced Lead Marketing Analyst who will play a key role in informing advertising decisions for GEICO's brand. Responsibilities include leading analytics projects, producing data-driven insights independently, and developing innovative ideas. You will analyze marketing programs and results, use predictive analytics and machine learning to create value from data, and drive strategic analytics initiatives forward. The Lead Marketing Analyst must be able to transform large datasets from complex systems to produce actionable insights and present the results to stakeholders at all levels within the company. Candidates will need to successfully manage projects and partner with Marketing, Product, Data Science, and other teams.

This role will be involved in several initiatives including customer acquisition cost optimization, media mix modeling, and the development of marketing business intelligence tools. These initiatives will provide enhanced visibility into key business performance metrics to marketing leadership and business stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Analyzing the performance of marketing efforts across multiple channels, including but not limited to Television, Search, Social, Email, and Display/Video advertising.
  • Study user behaviors and work with other analysts to join different data sources for measurement & attribution.
  • Assist with managing and improving processes for identity resolution, tagging, and other tracking parameters.
  • A successful candidate should be comfortable working independently and look to find ways to collaborate with other team members. While analytical skills are crucial for the position, it is just as important to have the ability to communicate and summarize complex information into management ready briefs and presentations.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • A 4-year college degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Analytics, Data Science, etc.)
  • 3-5 years of experience working with marketing analytics tools and data sources. (Web/App measurement tools, cloud environments, and audience management tools)
  • Experience working with Snowflake and LiveRamp
  • Experience in querying large datasets.
  • Strong experience with open-source statistical programming tools (Python/R) for analysis and data visualization.
  • Experience with applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
  • Experience working in cloud environments. (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure)
  • Experience with data visualization tools. (Power BI strongly preferred)
  • Familiar with key marketing KPI's and CRM management. Knowledgeable of current measurement landscape and identity resolution techniques.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science or related technical field.
  • Advanced marketing analytics experience working at a brand or agency.
  • Strong familiarity with Marketing KPI's to manage optimal marketing investment.
  • Experience with the development and usage of in-house attribution and media mix models.
  • Experience with either 3rd party or in-house data pipeline tools to automate pulling marketing data from various platforms and APIs.

Annual Salary
$93,000.00 - $154,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
