TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico, a leader in safe and reliable service to Puerto Rico, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the team at our Jacksonville, FL office.

In this position you will:

be responsible for supporting current programs and assist with new initiatives that align with our business goals. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a passion for creating impactful content. This role will play a key part in driving improvements to our marketing processes and lead generations’ efforts.

Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Support the marketing manager in establishing and evaluating marketing strategy by assembling sales forecasts, setting objectives, organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars.
  • Conduct research of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor landscape, and prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing data.
  • Developed well-structured materials and presentations to support sales efforts and internal and external communications.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to provide event coordination support at customer meetings & events.
  • Copywriting across a broad spectrum of channels including social media, advertising, sales presentations, website, etc.
  • Produce high-quality, engaging content for customer communications, advertising, and events for internal and external audiences across a broad spectrum of channels.
  • Maintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials when necessary.
  • Provide admin support and event coordination with the Corporate Social Responsibility Board.
  • Assist in developing and implementing content & communications for internal and external audiences across multiple platforms.
  • Ensure that all marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generations.
  • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics to assess program success.
  • Compile market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results, and consumer trends.
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal tools, including digital asset management (DAM) system, CRM, email marketing, etc.
  • Build knowledge and education to level up support of marketing strategies and planning.

The ideal candidate will have:

Required education and experience –

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred, but degrees in other relevant areas are also acceptable.
  • One to Three years of experience of marketing coordination or directly supporting a marketing or communications function in a B2B organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, with a passion for copywriting and social media.

Preferred education and experience –

  • Excellent communication and presentation building skills.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Graphic design and/or skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

10% travel may require nights & weekends on occasion to accommodate special events.
