We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Trade Marketing Manager with Food Industry experience to join our team. As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth and brand visibility tailored to the retail distribution channel. This position requires a unique blend of analytical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of both the company's products and the dynamics of the market.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Design and implement with the marketing team impactful trade marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, product visibility, and sales within the trade channel.
· Develop and produce effective POS materials, sales collateral, and merchandising tools to support trade activities and to enhance product visibility at the point of purchase.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute successful Brand Plans to deliver net revenue, gross margin, market share and profit targets within timescales and budget.
· Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless execution of trade promotions and initiatives.
· Collaborate with key trade partners and distributors to develop joint marketing plans and promotional activities.
· Conduct market analysis and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and threats in the trade channel.
· Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance overall trade marketing performance.
· Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and provide regular reports.
· Monitor and evaluate the performance of trade programs, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
· Coordinate promotional activities and events in collaboration with business partners.
- Maintain customer relationships for future purchases.
- Cultivate programs that ensure products see in-store.
- Developing advertising plans, including writing copy and selecting images for print ads
- Preparing presentations and/or create analyses for sales teams’ use in monthly pitches, key account planning/review meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, communications or business
- Proven experience in Food Industry Trade Marketing / Business Development campaign delivery and management
- Strong knowledge of consumer industry
- Ability to forecast a number of tools and work with sales reps to accurately determine the trade needs for the US market
- Strategic approach with operational capability
- Experience analyzing large amounts of date and trends
- Ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
