In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, engaging with our audience, and enhancing brand awareness across multiple platforms. With your expertise in social media trends and best practices, you will create compelling content, manage campaigns, and collaborate with our marketing team to deliver outstanding results.

This role serves as the day-to-day client lead for SocialLite, the in-house social media agency for Davidson Hospitality Group, creating thoughtful social media plans and executing strategies with the overall objective of promoting hotels, resorts and restaurants favorably to guests and customers through organic storytelling to drive interest and generate revenue. In addition, the Social Media Manager is responsible for social media content creation for hotel and restaurant social handles and day-to-day content management. The person in this role will be a key member of Davidsons boutique in-house social media agency and develop strategic social media plans, foster social engagement, and create compelling content that resonates with target channel audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the social media strategy for specific hotels and restaurants; manage cohesive monthly calendar.
  • Develop channel-specific social media content for hotel and restaurant social handles that will drive awareness and generate revenue.
  • Schedule and publish social media content during optimal engagement times utilizing social media management platform.
  • Manage internal UGC library, source high quality content, secure permissions, and store assets.
  • Engage with social media audiences on a proactive and reactive basis to maintain and grow community.
  • Aggregate, analyze and report on social media metrics monthly benchmarked against annual KPIs.
  • Proactively forge strategic influencer collaborations that align with overall objectives and demonstrate ROI.
  • Ideate and implement collaboration posts, contests and promotions to grow audience and foster engagement.
  • Host monthly meetings with clients to share industry trends/happenings, discuss activities and merchandise social media results.
  • Create and edit social media templates in Canva platform (Instagram Stories, etc.) that are compliant with individual brand guidelines

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years experience managing multiple professional social accounts across major social networks (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) agency environment preferred
  • Highly driven, proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Experience utilizing Sprout Social, Later, StatusBrew, Plannable or similar social media management platforms
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to senior leadership
  • Polished presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Video editing skills for Reels
  • A palpable interest and passion for social media; above and beyond just digitally literate, must be truly at the forefront of trends and happenings
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinker
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet business demands
  • Ability to travel as needed for business

  • A Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
