What you'll do

Scout Motors is seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Strategist to join our Scout Studios team for the purpose of driving audience growth and engagement on our Scout social media channels. The ideal candidate will be an expert in social media trends, passionate about storytelling and content creation, have a deep understanding of the automotive industry and a proven track record of building and delivering on social media audience and engagement growth strategies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing Scout's social media strategy to drive the brand's online presence and tone, engage with our community, and build fans of the brand.
- Create comprehensive social media strategies that align Scout's goals and target audience with the overarching objective to foster a massive, engaged and inspired audience across all of Scout's social media channels.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in social media that Scout should act on.
- Collaborate with Scout Studios team to develop and maintain a social content calendar that includes content creation, curation, scheduling, and posting across Scout's social media platforms.
- Craft compelling and engaging content, including text, image, and video, that captivates and engages Scout's audiences.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style and quality, and optimized for SEO.
- Drive consistent, quality engagement and discussion across Scout's social media channels.
- Foster and maintain social media relationships with influencers, like minded-brands, and key opinion leaders.
- Manage social media discussions, feedback, and user-generated content to build a positive and active social audience.
- Set specific objectives and success measurement tactics and report on ROI.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to gauge the success of campaigns and strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on social media performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations on how to continue to grow and engage Scout's audiences.
- Stay updated on social media algorithm changes, best practices, and new, significant, and beneficial social media channels for future growth opportunities.
- Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns, monitoring ad performance to optimize campaigns for better results, and manage budgets effectively.
- Work closely with the rest of the Scout Studios team to ensure a streamlined, cohesive, and connected front to content production and distribution.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate social media into broader marketing and business initiatives.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 6-years years' experience as a Social Media Strategist, or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics software.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Experience in initiating and managing influencer partnerships.

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $100,000-$130,000
