The Atlanta Vibe is a premier pro volleyball team, part of the Pro Volleyball Federation dedicated to creating an electric atmosphere for our fans and building a strong community across the South. As a member of our team, you'll help drive engagement and excitement through our dynamic social media presence.

Position Overview:

The Social Media Coordinator (Seasonal) will be responsible for managing all social media content for games, including content creation, publishing, and maintaining a content calendar. This role will support our marketing initiatives and engage our fan base through innovative and trend-driven content. The coordinator will attend team practices and games, collaborating closely with players to ensure authentic representation and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, create, and post engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms that reflect the spirit of the Atlanta Vibe.
  • Manage all game-related content, including pre-game promotions, live updates, and post-game highlights.
  • Handle the content calendar, ensuring timely publishing of all scheduled posts and alignment with marketing campaigns.
  • Attend practices and games to capture real-time social media coverage, highlighting key moments and interactions with players.
  • Build and maintain respectful relationships with players, ensuring their comfort and willingness to participate in social media content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with overall brand strategy and promotional efforts.
  • Monitor trends and adapt content strategies to maximize engagement and reach.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages promptly and positively.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics to provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of social media campaigns and promotions.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field.
  • Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for creating compelling content.
  • Experience with graphic design tools ( Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed during the season.
