The Role Alchemy is seeking a seasoned Social Media Manager to elevate our brand awareness and drive growth. In this role, you'll be the mastermind behind our social media strategies, bringing your A-game to platforms like Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Farcaster, and Discord. Working closely with our Community Lead, you'll craft content that spans partner marketing, ecosystem projects, announcements, product updates, and educational material that speaks directly to developers. We're not just looking for someone to schedule posts – we want a creative who can lean into our fun side.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a growth mindset and a flair for creativity. You've got a passion for being onchain that rivals your quest for the perfect meme. As a strategic partner to your teammates, you'll be adept at demonstrating the impact of your content and aligning with Alchemy's mission. Your expertise will be the secret sauce that boosts Alchemy's cultural relevance and keeps our community coming back for more.
Responsibilities: Collaborate on developing and implementing a top-tier social media strategy for Alchemy
Create and deploy engaging content across our various social media platforms
Leverage our social channels to build community and cultivate our unique culture
Work cross-functionally to amplify and curate ecosystem-related news
Partner with designers to produce compelling visuals
Utilize analytics and listening tools to gather insights and refine our strategy
Continuously seek ways to enhance the impact of our social media presence
Explore and establish a presence on emerging platforms to reach new audiences
What We're Looking For 5+ years in social media marketing, including at least 2 year in web3
Proven success managing social media for fast-growing organizations
Expert in channel strategy, content creation, and message prioritization
Strong writing and editing skills, especially in short-form content
Deep understanding of, and enthusiasm for, crypto culture and trends
Experience using data to refine and optimize social media efforts
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects
Proactive self-starter with a bias for action
Skilled at communicating and collaborating under pressure
Experience working with both technical and creative teams
Proficiency with social publishing and analytics tools
Impressive meme portfolio (because who doesn't love a good meme?)
Additional content creation skills are a plus
Alchemy is committed to offering competitive compensation, including base salary as well as equity. Additionally, Alchemy offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as other benefits such as 401k and unlimited flexible time off.
The base salary range for this position is estimated to be between $130,000 - $200,000 annually. Please note this range reflects base salary only, and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Your salary will be determined by various factors, including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business needs.
