**Position:** Summer Internship Program - Social Media Intern

**Location:** Hybrid in Miami, Florida

**Key Details:**

+ **Hybrid Program:** This internship is a hybrid program based in Miami, Florida. Students must be available for the entire duration of the program and willing to work a hybrid schedule, combining both in-office and remote work. This is a full-time opportunity, with interns working 40 hours per week. While hours may vary, interns can expect to work from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

+ **Relocation Support:** Carnival provides housing for interns who are relocating to Miami for the summer.

+ **Eligibility:** Juniors, seniors, and graduate students are preferred for the program.

+ **Technical Requirements:** Interns will be provided with a company-issued laptop and will need reliable internet when working remotely.

The Social Media team at Carnival Cruise Line is responsible for managing and enhancing the brand's presence across all social media platforms. This team creates, curates, and distributes engaging content to build brand awareness, foster customer engagement, and drive positive sentiment. Through strategic campaigns, community management, and real-time interaction, the Social Media team plays a vital role in connecting Carnival with its guests, partners, and fans worldwide.

By leveraging data-driven insights and innovative storytelling, the team helps promote Carnival's unique offerings, responds to customer inquiries, and monitors trends to stay ahead in the digital landscape. **Internship Project Summary:**

**Project Title:**

Social Media and Community Engagement Support

**Objective:**

The intern will assist with managing and scheduling social media posts, monitoring engagement, discovering insights through social listening, and supporting community engagement initiatives. They will also learn to track analytics and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and community programs, contributing to the overall strategy of the team.

**Essential Functions:**

+ **Social Media Management:** Help manage social media posts, monitor engagement, and track analytics.

+ **Influencer Marketing:** Research influencer partnerships and discover insights using social listening tools.

+ **Content Creation:** Assist in creating engaging content, including blog posts, social media updates, and visual content.

+ **Campaign Support:** Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing and community engagement campaigns.

+ **Community Outreach:** Support the planning and coordination of community engagement events and activities.

+ **Reporting:** Generate reports on social media and community engagement KPIs, analyzing data to provide actionable insights.

**Tools & Technologies:**

+ Learn to use **Sprinklr** and **CreatorIQ** for social media and influencer marketing.

+ Develop proficiency in social listening and reporting on social media KPIs.

**Specific Qualifications:**

+ **Academic Background:** Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Masters degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Community Engagement, or a related field.

+ **Skills:** Familiarity with major social media platforms, digital marketing concepts, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
