About the Team:

VIZIOs Ad Sales team is actively recruiting a Media Insights & Analytics Manager. In this role, the successful candidate will be a strategic partner to our Ad Sales team, our Inscape Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) viewership data team, and our clients as we further integrate our media and data businesses to drive powerful brand outcomes. The Media Insights & Analytics Manager will harness a variety of tools and datasets (both internal and external across a variety of business functions) to build compelling forecasting, measurement, and insights-driven products and presentations.

The Media Insights & Analytics Manager will have a passion for data and problem solving and a desire to incept, build, and execute on novel approaches to campaign measurement and understanding viewer behaviors. The ideal candidate will closely coordinate with technical data teams like product and engineering and will be comfortable leaning in to learn technical processes that may be unfamiliar to them. As part of a rapidly-growing, fast-paced sales environment, this position requires strong self-drive, communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for solving problems in unique and novel ways.

What You Will Do:
  • Coordinate with sales team, account planning and account management to understand client needs and recommend customized solutions for top-tier and/or strategically important clients.
  • Partner closely with marketing and product management teams to ensure strategic alignment and availability of assets, as well as build out processes and deliverables directly supporting sales initiatives.
  • Evangelize the efficacy of VIZIO advertising through campaign measurement, research, case studies, best practices and deep advertising industry experience.
  • Master the ins and outs of Inscapes proprietary ACR technology and TV viewing dataset to identify novel applications for both Inscape licensee and VIZIO Ads clients.
  • Surface trends in viewership and identify compelling narratives for a wide variety of audiences and applications, including VIZIO Ads client, marketing initiatives, and industry publications.
About You:
  • You have 5+ years of experience in digital media, preferably in an analytics or data-focused role.
  • You have a minimum of 1+ years supporting sales and ad client solutions (tier 1 clients preferred).
  • You have a minimum of 2+ years developing and managing campaign performance benchmarking tools.
  • You excel at distilling meaningful stories for advertisers from a variety of data sources and are able to derive data-driven analysis.
  • You have experience fielding and presenting advertising effectiveness research and/or familiarity with third-party measurement solutions like Millward Brown, Survata, Nielsen, and comScore.
  • You are comfortable speaking in front of large groups both internally and externally.
  • You have experience in programmatic video executions and workflows. CTV and Linear TV experience is preferred.
  • You have proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and various reporting platforms; SQL experience preferred.
  • You have a genuine desire to understand customer businesses, develop strong relationships, and represent the Inscape and VIZIO brands.
  • You have the ability to thrive and invent structure in a constantly evolving, amorphous environment.

For California-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $116,000/year. The maximum salary for this position $150,000/year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
