The Atlanta Motor Speedway Social Media and Digital Marketing Internship is a paid internship position in the Marketing and Promotion department that will provide hands-on social media and digital marketing experience.The social media and digital marketing intern will assist in content creation, ideation, and planning for NASCAR events and other events that happen on property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assist in organizing, labeling, and managing the track's photo and video content library.
•Create engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including Instagram,Facebook, YouTube, X, and TikTok.
•Help schedule and post content on social media, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging.
•Collaborate with the marketing, corporate sales, and events teams to develop unique social media campaigns.
•Monitor social media channels during major AMS events to capture real-time content.
•Assist with reporting and tracking social media engagement and growth.
•Assist in email marketing
•Assist in AMS app management
•Updating and posting to the speedway website
•Assist in AI Chat Bot Content Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a four-year college/university
•High integrity and confidentiality
•Familiarity with social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and YouTube.
•Basic knowledge of content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, or similar).
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large amounts of media content.
•Creativity in creating engaging posts that align with the track's brand.
•Interest in sports, especially motorsports, is preferred.
•Ability to work on-site during events as needed.

- Maintains high level of energy during entire duration of shift
- Must be able to work exceptionally well with others in a close team environment
- Charming and outgoing attitude during shifts
- Must be polite, courteous, and treat all consumers respectfully regardless of the situation
- Must comply with local, state, and federal law
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time during long drives in an AMS vehicle
- Must be able to stand and remain mobile for extended periods of time during events
- Must treat the company assets with care at all times.
- Must be available to work weekends as well as some overnight trips
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Must be willing to work unusual hours

- Must have the stamina to work long hours and must be willing to work an irregular schedule, which may include weekends or evenings.
- Work outdoors requires physical strength and stamina to endure extreme heat, cold, rain and other conditions.
